Will see how late it goes while I'm writing this out as I'm also downloading and processing demos, but anyways, a general update~~
This is the first general update, these may or may not be named "general update", they might have more specific titles if its something more specific.
I've been generally very busy lately. College, label stuff, etc; even more so now with heavy school week and my show this weekend. Was quite a hassle today but got a lot of important stuff done. Wont get into too much detail as its banking related but basically there were issues and I had to go the bank twice, then speed back home to catch a lecture. Also finally bought train tickets and booked a hotel; first time I've done either and it was surprisingly really straightforwards and easy. I don't know if I used the best site, and the price suddenly jumped by $20 when I checked out; just used what my Dad uses.
Been getting materials to sell at the show together. I always just give stuff for free but the booker encouraged me to try to actually sell things, and I really need the money. Got a few recycled tapes dubbed (I can only copy from tapes though, cant dub from my computer yet). Also got the tracklists together for a floppy thing and a CDr thing. Have yet to start burning copies. Hopefully I wont have to remove tracks, the floppy is really pushing the size limits, and sometimes you don't get the full 1.44 of the floppy. Also, last time I burned CDrs I had some major issues with tracks glitching; really hoping this doesn't occur again.
Really thankful to God, my friends, and my family for really pulling through and helping me with funding this tour~! A lot of people have donated, and donated some rather large amount. My parents have both given me some money as well. There was also an old envelope with $100 in it addressed to my Mom and dated 1999, it was lost for 20 years and popped up right when we needed money~! God is good~!
