Vziel Projet Listening List 25: Extensional Emanation - Times of Weakness, the Time of Devotion

Artist: Extensional Emanation
Genre: Ambient
Label: Genetic Trance
CAT#: GT904
Year: 2018

In the previous post I forgot to actually introduce this project of Vziel's so might as well do another one (well, I've heard this before, but you get what I mean). Extensional Emanation is Vziel's ambient alias that has heavy Christian themes, its very cool, and not enough "outsider gospel" music exists. This release is a five minute single, and is much more melodic and rhythmic than the previously discussed release. The song consists of a really nice bell synth that, to me personally, invokes the feeling of night, and it plays nice melodies. The synth is accompanied by a simple percussion pattern, and according to the tags Vziel gave it on Discogs, its meant to be techno, and it definitely has that sort of outsider techno sound. To me personally, the song sounds more ambient and experimental berlin-school type stuff. The sampled outro on the track is nice.

Vziel Projet Listening List 24: Extensional Emanation - Christian Discourse Thoughts on Sacred Objects Trade and Sacred Objects Combinatorics

Artist: Extensional Emanation
Genre: Ambient
Label: Genetic Trance
CAT#: N/A
Year: 2019

Fun fact, this release was the inspiration for the album art of my TCLB release, DR0000_4621. The release is two minute ambient single with a nice meditative sound. A slow moving synth plays notes and is accompanied by a minimalistic percussion loop. The harmonic/melodic side uses a lot of higher octave tones, it almost gets feedback-esque in sound at times, and is an interesting approach to ambient to have it so focused on the higher spectrum. The percussion loop helps to make the song sound meditative.

Vziel Projet Listening List 21: Tiholaz - Soundtrack to the 2-V-2018 Picture

Artist: Tiholaz
Genre: Ambient
Label: Genetic Trance
CAT#: GT928
Year: 2018

A short 20 second ambient track. Is very minimal, but very nice, a simple melody with a tight delay on the sounds.

Vziel Projet Listening List 10: Merzlux - Ambient 2

Artist: Merzlux
Genre: Ambient
Label: Genetic Trance
CAT#: M000034
Year: 2016

A short one minute ambient single. Starts off as a nice drone then quickly changes into something that resembles improvised black ambient. The looped minimalistic porn sample (combined with the cover art) gives the song an unusual vibe for this kind of music.

Vziel Projet Listening List 5: Vziel Projet - Hail Jesu Recurrection

Artist: Vziel Projet
Genre: Ambient / Proto-Comfy Synth
Label: Genetic Trance
CAT#: GT268 / GTC001
Year: 2011

It was just Easter this past weekend, so might as well do their Easter album, Hail Jesu Resurrection. This has always been of my favorite albums by Vziel, three tracks (with the main being over 20 minutes long), of wonderful lo-fi ambient recorded direct to tape. The album has all of the common trappings of comfy synth, but long before comfy synth was a thing (and done much better than most comfy synth). The tonality of the instrument, slow chord progressions, and pretty melodies, make me envision a church in a sleepy little country down in the snow. It really is a wonderful ambient album, and being a Christian, I especially love the religious theme it has. If you're into stuff like Grandma's Cottage, then you'll love this.

This Week On Tsundere Violence (9/16/2019 - 9/22/2019)

My commentary on the releases of the week of 9/16/2019 - 9/22/2019.
Gold listings means its a favorite of mine~

TV1737 - Pento - Notebook EP

Really nice mashcore and lolicore EP by Pento~! The tracks change up a nice amount within themselves; one moment its spastic cut and slice mashcore, then its stuttery trance, then breakcore, then speedcore, then slower club music, then lolicore. Its an eclectic release that's a lot of fun to listen to~ Totally recommended if you like mashcore. One of my favorites of the week~

TV1738 - Ninja McTits - Live In Sacramento 9/15/2019

This is my release, is the recording of my recent noise live

TV1739 - Chaosmond - Half a Hundred Husbandos: Mentai 2

Really amazing shotacore album~! This album is packed with shota cock upbeat tunes that are really fun. Sped up songs, gabber kicks, and breaks; whats there not to love? Despite being shotacore this has a lolicore sound due to the samples being sped up. This is a really nice release, perfect if you love shotacore, partycore, or lolicore. Another favorite of this week~

TV1740 - HarshNoiseFactory - Harsh Noise Slowly Becoming White Noise

A nice dense noise track from HarshNoiseFactory, this one develops slowly making it a perfect noise track to work to. It has a really nice crunchy texture similar to HNW.

TV1741 - Гипертрофированный Антиинтеллектуализм - Горизонт Познания
Really nice dark ambient single, again I think his covers are trolling but I oddly think they go with the music quite well. Nice dark synths with a minimal drum track. It somewhat has a bit of a videogame sound to it imo. Really nice track~

TV1742 - RAINBOW ★ STAR ★ 36 / 木村先生 / Erronia Surrection / VxBxDxDx / XoArK / Antimatter Prism - Noise Split

A nice big split by numerous internet noisers, really amazing album. The tracks are varied but also flow together very nicely into one consistently solid album. This is one of the best noise albums I've heard in quite some time, highly recommended if you like noise music. This is my 3rd fave of the week~
